New Revised Rules...

Things are coming along! We will have the clues for the destinations shortly.

I just wanted to point out a couple of rule changes/clarifications. This information has been revised in the rules posting below, but here are the highlights:

HH's are okay to leave, but once found... please do not move to another box within the series.

Team members must travel in one car together. You cannot split up your team and go to different boxes.

All team member's drivers licenses will be sealed in an envelope at the start of the Crawl. If the envelope is opened before you check-in, a 5 minute penalty will be levied.

The "kid" rule has been revised. Kids 8 and over will be counted as a team-mate. Kids 7 and under are welcome and will not count as team members. Teams can have a max 4 members. However, please keep your total group size down to 6 or fewer people including the youngsters.

Am I interpreting the paragraph about driver's licenses correctly? I'm guessing that you mean that all the licenses for the members will be put in an envelope that THEY TAKE WITH THEM. The purpose of this would be to prevent them from splitting up (driving without a license, since the licenses are in a sealed envelope in the primary car)?

Yes, they'd take their licenses with them in the envelope. Because this is a "race", this rule is primarily to prevent people from speeding or breaking the traffic laws in some other way to finish faster. If they get pulled over by the police, they have to open the envelope to get their license. And, they'd be given a time penalty from us when they check in. I didn't think of it as also preventing or discouraging them from spitting up, but that's an added bonus!
